Erica Jackson Tops At “Cog Hill”
BirdieSister Erica Jackson played in the Illinois Junior Golf Association’s event number 7, “Cog Hill Sizzler,” at Cog Hill Country Club in Lemont Illinois (located 29 miles from home/1hr.). The Weather was a very cool 59 degrees with clouds and the chance of rain all day.
After a double boggy at the first hole in the last 3 tournaments, Erica Jackson came out with a new attitude and started her round with a par. In fact, Erica did not make a double boggy all day. Her driver has found a glitch, which inhibits control and distance. So, we know her short game was on the mark. Erica has 2 lessons with her coach Alexis this week and she hopes to work out her driver issues while continuing to improve her short game.
