Illinois Junior Golf “Winnetka”
The Illinois Junior Golf Association held a tournament today at Winnetka Golf Club in Winnetka, Illinois — 26 miles (40 minutes) from home. The weather was great, temps in the mid 70′s with some clouds.
Myah Jackson broke her streak of sub-par golf today. However, she managed to keep a positive attitude about the situation. For example, after ending her round with a birdie on the last hole, Myah displayed a big smile and asked if I wanted to hear the good news or the bad news. Myah then stated, ”the good news is I made two birdies and the bad news is I did not have a sub-par round.” This statement demonstrates that Myah’s expectations of herself have risen to a new level.
