Today BirdieSister Erica Jackson played at “Sportsman’s Country Club” in Northbrook Illinois, 33 miles (56 minutes) from home. The weather was great with temps in the mid 70s and clear skies.
With the season waining down, BirdieSister Erica Jackson needed to win one out of the last two remaining US Kids tournament to clinch player of the year. The girls both started out well, putting each other’s will to win to the test. However, by the end of hole number seven Erica had a four shot lead and cruised home. July is the big junior golf month. Traveling, practicing and playing, this is it! For the first time the BirdieSisters will separate and play in different states. Please keep the comments and well wishes flowing to motivate the girls this month!

- July 18-19th — Midwest Golf Assoc. Junior Championship, Lima, OH
- July 22nd — IJGA YDP (6-9) “Winnetka”
- July 30th — IJGA YDP (10-11) “Craig Woods”
The BirdieSisters also hope to find time to make it to their family reunion this month in Laurel, MS.
