Golf Outing For Chicago State University Women’s Golf Team
The BirdieSisters played in the Chicago State University (CSU) Women’s Golf team’s first annual golf outing. The outing was sponsored by the Rotary Club of New Lenox and CSU’s golf coach (men and women), Ms. Alexis Mihelich, at the Sanctuary Golf Course in New Lenox, Illinois (58 miles 1hour 5 mintues from home). The game was 4 person best ball and the BirdieSisters were honored to play with Ms. Sharon Rushing and Ms. Marilee Gallagher. The group had a 9:00 am tee time with a 3:00 pm dinner. The ladies played well together, shooting 2 under — 70. Myah won closest to the pin on hole 4. It was an 80 yard par 3 and she placed her ball 6 feet from the cup. On the 6th and 11th holes the ladies of the CSU golf team ( Ms.Tessa Harp, Ms. Brittany Johnson, Diana Flores and Ms. Andrea Rosado) showed their skills with their irons. The weather was great, the food was good, and most of all the girls had a chance to make new friends.
